MMS

It will depend on whether the subscriber’s device is able to support the sending and receiving of MMS. If the device is able to support, you do not need to make any changes to your existing settings and will be able to send and receive MMS.

Yes, as long as your operator supports this application. However, you will not be able to receive an email via MMS.

  • The type of MMS message received may not be compatible with your mobile phone model. e.g. An operator logo or ring tone is sent from a Nokia to a Motorola mobile phone.
  • MMS may have come from overseas. Some international MMS are not viewable in Malaysia even if there is an MMS message agreement with that network.

You will receive an error message if the size exceeds the allocated maximum size of a single MMS message.

It is instantaneous but delays may occur due to server load, the origins and destination of the MMS or network outages.

This is very much dependent on your 3G mobile phone model.

Only successfully delivered MMS will be charged, this is when you are prompted “Message Sent” on your mobile phone screen. However, if you see “Message error”, it means the MMS is not successfully sent and you will not be charged for this.

You will see an alert message "1 new multimedia message received".

There would be no setting required. U Mobile MMS service is applicable to 3G/3.5G phone which MMS supported.
