It will be refreshed daily at 12:00am every day based on the capital city’s time of the country that you roam in. With effective 18^th Feb 2020, the quota will be refresh after 24 hours. Eg. 1:05pm 18^th Feb 2020 until 1:04pm 19^th Feb 2020

If your browsing session crosses over the refresh time of a day:

For U Data Roam 10:
You will be charged RM20 for 2 days of internet usage i.e. RM10 for the first day’s usage and RM10 for the second day.

For U Data Roam 36:
You will be charged a maximum rate of RM72 for 2 days of internet usage, i.e. a maximum rate of RM36 for the first day and a maximum rate of RM36 for the second day.

In the Same Country:
Regardless of which preferred operators you have selected or switched in the same day, you will still be charged at RM10/day or RM36/day.

Example:
When you roam in India and you have switched between two operators i.e. Aircel & Reliance in the same day, you will still be charged at RM10/day.

In Different Country:
You will be charged RM10/day or RM36/day for each of the country you have visited.

Example:
When you roam in Singapore in the morning and roam in Indonesia later on the same day, you will be charged at RM10/day(Singapore) & RM10/day (Indonesia).

No, it is only applicable for roaming usage.

International roaming charges are exempted from GST effective from 1 April 2015 onwards

When you are connected to our preferred roaming operators’ network, your data usages will be subject to the charges applicable per day depending on whether the U Data Roam 10 or U Data Roam 36 is applicable to you.

When you switch your network connection to other roaming operators’ network that is not listed above, you will not be able to use mobile data. However, you may still be able to use voice and SMS service subject to applicable charges imposed by the roaming operator you connect to.
