The U Data Roam 10 and U Data Roam 36 are affordable data roaming promotions which enables you to enjoy unlimited internet roaming at selected destinations when you connect to our preferred roaming operator’s network while roaming.
This promotion is available to all U Mobile prepaid and postpaid plans, except for U Mobile postpaid broadband plans.
Yes, you will receive a welcome message which states our preferred roaming operator’s name and network when you arrive at your destination country.
You will not be able to connect to the internet on your mobile device using your mobile data.
Therefore, please ensure that you connect with U Mobile’s preferred roaming operator when you are abroad.
You are advised to ensure that you have the credit balance required based on the charges applicable based on the type of country you intend to travel before you travel.
As an example, if you do not have RM10 credit in your main credit balance account when you travel to countries where the U Data Roam 10 is available, the promotion will not be applicable to you. You will not be able to subscribe to U Data Roam if you have insufficient credit in your Main Credit Balance as U Data Roam charges can only be deducted from the Main Credit Balance even though you have sufficient credit in your CreditShare Balance.
If you have less than RM36 in your account when you travel to countries where the U Data Roam 36 is applicable, you are still allowed to perform data roaming until the service is blocked when there insufficient credit for deduction. Data usage will be charged at RM9/MB and capped at RM36/day.

It will be refreshed daily at 12:00am every day based on the capital city’s time of the country that you roam in. With effective 18th Feb 2020, the quota will be refresh after 24 hours. Eg. 1:05pm 18th Feb 2020 until 1:04pm 19th Feb 2020
If your browsing session crosses over the refresh time of a day:
For U Data Roam 10:
You will be charged RM20 for 2 days of internet usage i.e. RM10 for the first day’s usage and RM10 for the second day.
For U Data Roam 36:
You will be charged a maximum rate of RM72 for 2 days of internet usage, i.e. a maximum rate of RM36 for the first day and a maximum rate of RM36 for the second day.
No, it is only applicable for roaming usage.
The mobile device may not be permanently locked to the selected roaming operator once manual selection is configured. You are advised to regularly monitor your mobile device’s connection to ensure that you are connected to our preferred roaming operator’s network.
