You will be charged RM10 per day for internet usage while on roaming if you connect to the following networks based on the country you roam:

Yes. As long as your member line activates the international roaming service, the member line holder will be able enjoy the same promotion as the principal line holder but the usage will be charged separately.

For example: In Singapore where we offer U Data Roam 10 promotion:
If the principal line holder and 1 member line uses data roaming at the same time in Singapore when they connect to STARHUB, the principal line will be charged RM10 per day and an additional RM10 per day for the member line’s internet usage.

You just need to ensure that your international roaming service is activated before you travel overseas.

There is no manual subscription required. However, you will NEED to manually select and connect to the preferred roaming operator’s network based on the country you are in.

For U Data Roam 10, any usage of the internet will be charged at the flat rate of RM10 per day.

For U Data Roam 36, your internet usage will be charged at the rate of RM9 per MB up to a maximum rate of RM36 per day.

You are advised to top up before you travel. However, you can still perform top up with your top up voucher even when you are roaming.

At the same time, you may also use our online banking channels to top up while roaming.

No, there is no data quota limitation. However, your internet usage will be subjected to our Fair Usage Policy which can be found at http://www.u.com.my/tnc/199.

Please note that your browsing speed may be managed if you exceed the Fair Usage Quota as specified in our T&C which can be found at http://www.u.com.my/tnc/199.

Please refer to the table “Daily Validity Period” in the T&C (https://www.u.com.my/tnc/150).

In the Same Country:
Regardless of which preferred operators you have selected or switched in the same day, you will still be charged at RM10/day or RM36/day.

Example:
When you roam in India and you have switched between two operators i.e. Aircel & Reliance in the same day, you will still be charged at RM10/day.

In Different Country:
You will be charged RM10/day or RM36/day for each of the country you have visited.

Example:
When you roam in Singapore in the morning and roam in Indonesia later on the same day, you will be charged at RM10/day(Singapore) & RM10/day (Indonesia).

International roaming charges are exempted from GST effective from 1 April 2015 onwards
