iPhone with UPackage
Subscribers who are eligible to sign up for UPackage plan can choose to pay for an iPhone on a monthly instalment payment with no interest charges.
UPackage offer is open to Postpaid customers who port in and existing Postpaid U Mobile subscribers. In order to sign up for UPackage plan, eligible subscribers are required to meet the following criterias:
For port in subscribers:
Latest 3 months of Postpaid bills with minimum RM70 monthly spent with no outstanding payment shown in the latest bill from the previous telecommunication service provider. Customers required to subscribe UPackage using Auto Debit payment method.
For existing U Mobile subscribers:
Combination of a few criteria which include tenure, monthly spent and payment record.
For both port in and existing customers, you are required to pay an advance payment upon registration of the UPackage, depending on the iPhone model purchased.
Eligible subscriber is entitled to one (1) UPackage sign-up with one (1) NRIC. Any subsequent sign-up with UPackage under the same NRIC is not permitted.
UPackage sign-up is applicable under Unlimited HERO P99 & P139 plan.
The existing rate plan will be terminated as it is still bonded to an active contract. The subscriber will be liable for any charges, he or she must settle all outstanding charges under the existing rate plan before the subscriber can proceed to sign up for UPackage.
Subscribers will enjoy attractive savings from low instalment payments as the total amount paid throughout the tenure is still much lower than the RRP price of iPhone model upon signing up for UPackage plan. Furthermore, subscribers will be enjoying 0% interest-free instalment payment throughout the instalment tenure.
There is no additional penalty fee if a subscriber wishes to terminate the UPackage plan, U Mobile line termination or early settlement for UPackage plan. In order to do so, the subscriber need to make a payment to pay off on the remaining device balance, which is equivalent to the device selling price minus the total instalment fees paid so far.
Example: U Mobile Selling Price for Apple iPhone XR 64GB: RM3,270
Termination on Month 7 (You’ll have been billed 8 times for device instalment) RM 3,270 – RM920 (RM115 x 8 instalments billed) = RM2,350 (Remaining device instalment balance amount to be paid off).
Remarks:
- The U Mobile Selling Price is not the same as the total monthly instalment price (RM115 x 24 months = RM 2,760).
- If a subscriber wishes to terminate the UPackage plan, U Mobile will base the calculation on the U Mobile Selling Price. In this case, it will be RM3,270.
Unfortunately, device trade-in is not applicable for UPackage sign-up.

Contract freedom allows you to terminate your service at any time. However, if you terminate or downgrade your current plan, or change to another rate plan before the expiry of your commitment period, the following will be applicable:
- For customers who have paid the Upfront Payment amount (not entitled for the upfront payment waiver), your remaining monthly subsidy rebate will be forfeited.
- For customers who are entitled to the upfront payment waiver, you are required to refund the balance of the device subsidy (upfront payment). The balance of device subsidy will be calculated as per the following: Subsidy amount (upfront payment) / Commitment Period x remaining number of months. The remaining number of months will include the month during which you terminated the Service. (Example: If you have signed up for an iPhone XS with Unlimited HERO P139, and terminate on the 7th month, you are required to refund RM1,056 / 24months x 18 months = RM792.
- UPackage: If a subscriber wishes to terminate or opt for an early settlement of their UPackage plan, you will need to pay off the remaining device balance, which is equivalent to the device selling price minus the total instalments paid. Example: U Mobile Selling Price for Apple iPhone XR 64GB: RM3,270 Termination on the 7th month (You would have been billed 8 times for the device instalment) RM 3,270 – RM920 (RM115 x 8 instalments billed) = RM2,350 (Remaining device instalment balance amount to be paid off).

Phone Bundle or Standalone Service
- These Unlimited HERO P99 and P139 Postpaid Plans are available as a bundled service with a smartphone (P99 or P139 Phone Bundle) or as a stand-alone service (P99 or P139) and is supplied according to the Terms of Service in our Postpaid Sign-Up Form, which includes our Privacy Policy. These additional terms and conditions and any add-on services such as voice or SMS Postpaid Add-on Packs are governed by separate terms and conditions (collectively, the Terms), all of which are available on www.u.com.my.
- You can use P99 or P139 via smartphones only and no other devices, such as a MiFi and USB dongle. However, your Share 20 member line(s) under P99 or P139 can be used via MiFi or USB dongle. We may from time to time change the device requirements for P99 or P139 at our absolute discretion.

Voice
- The voice service applies to domestic mobile, domestic fixed on-net and off-net usage and excludes video calls, MMS, International Direct Dial (IDD), International Roaming, Voicemail (1311) or calls to special numbers/premium numbers (namely 1300 / 1500 / 1508 / 1600 / 1700 / 1900 / 103 and 800).

You must only use the voice service strictly as part of normal everyday mobile voice
usage and not for commercial use. P99 or P139
shall not be:
- re-sold, rented or utilised in any other way;
- used for multiple simultaneous calling, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, application-to-person communication, continuous calling for extended period of time, auto-dialling, machine-to- machine communication;
- used for wholesale or for SIM boxing or aggregate minutes on our network;
- used in connection with a device, software or application which re-routes calls;
- used to set up switch devices which could keep a line open potentially for hours and limiting the ability of other customers to access our network; or
- used for any other activity that U Mobile considers to be non-standard usage.
- In addition to our other rights and remedies, we may suspend or terminate your P99 or P139 if you breach any of the Terms.

Data
- Peer-to-peer (P2P) usage for P99 or P139 is up to 64kbps.
- When there is a network failure, your normal (non-hotspot) data usage may inadvertently be deducted from your mobile hotspot quota. You acknowledge the possibility of this happening and agree not to hold us liable.
- Data is only applicable for domestic usage and will not be available when you are roaming overseas.

Share 20 member lines
You may subscribe up to 3 Share 20 member lines under P99 or P139. The data quota for sharing with Share 20 member line(s) will be drawn from the Mobile Hotspot/Data-Sharing bucket. After the data quota from the Mobile Hotspot/Data Sharing bucket is fully utilised, data speed will be managed. -
U Mobile prepaid upgrade to P99 or P139
If you are an existing U Mobile prepaid customer and you switch to P99 or P139, you may retain your phone number. Any content subscription services which were part of your previous prepaid plan will be automatically terminated and any remaining or unused SMS, voice minutes or data allowance to which you are entitled under the previous prepaid plan will be forfeited. However, any credit remaining, up to a maximum value of RM100, may be carried over to P99 or P139 to offset your subsequent bill payments. Any credit balance exceeding the sum of RM100 will automatically be forfeited.
- You must pay the Monthly Fee in full even if you do not use P99 or P139 to the full value of the service for the month, and no part of the Monthly Fee will be carried over to the following months. Any usage exceeding the Monthly Fee will be billed to you on monthly basis. Monthly Fee may be used interchangeably with Access Fee or Monthly Access Fee in www.u.com.my or in your bill.
- Charges for all other services not listed in Table A above, such as IDD and International Roaming will not be deducted from the Monthly Fee and will be charged separately in addition to the Monthly Fee.
- The Advance Access Fee (which is the amount equal to the Monthly Fee) is charged in advance to your account and will be shown in your first month’s bill. If you do not pay any of your bills by the due date, this Advance Access Fee may be used to offset any outstanding charges. Upon such offset, you are required to pay an additional amount to make up for any shortfall in the Advance Access Fee, so that the full amount of the Advance Access Fee is maintained at all times. Any remaining balance of the Advance Access Fee will be refunded to you without interest if P99 or P139 is terminated after all outstanding charges have been settled.

Upon activation of P99 or P139:
- your subscription of any voice Postpaid Add-on Pack on your previous U Mobile rate plan will be terminated. You will be charged the full monthly charges of the Postpaid Add-on Pack and any unused quota on the earlier voice Postpaid Add-on Pack will be forfeited without any refund.

if you have previously subscribed to any SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack, you will be
re-subscribed to the same SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack. The re-subscribed SMS Postpaid
Add-on Pack will have a refreshed quota and will be valid until the last day of your
bill cycle and any unused quota from the earlier SMS Postpaid Add-on Pack will be
forfeited without any refund. You will be charged with the full charges for the SMS
Postpaid Add-on Pack:
- for the previous subscription on your previous U Mobile rate plan; and
- for the renewed subscription on P99 or P139.
- All prices stated in these Terms are exclusive of all current and future taxes and other similar charges such as service tax, goods and services tax, sales tax and value added tax that may be imposed by any authority.

- All P99 or P139 Phone Bundle subscribers are required to pay an upfront payment and device price upon sign up. The upfront payment will vary depending on the device model that you have chosen as shown in www.u.com.my.
- For Non-Malaysian citizens, a deposit of RM500 is required to be paid upon sign up, in addition to the upfront payment and device price. When P99 or P139 is terminated, this deposit will be refunded free of interest after all outstanding charges have been paid.
- Once you have paid the upfront payment upon sign up, that upfront payment will then be reflected as a monthly rebate in your monthly bills throughout the Subsidy Period of 24 months from your first bill, subject to the bill cycle.
- The upfront payment will be waived if at the time you register for the P99 or P139 Phone Bundle, you have fulfilled the upfront payment waiver criteria set by U Mobile. Eligibility of upfront payment waiver is solely at U Mobile’s own discretion.

If you terminate the P99 or P139 Phone Bundle or change to another rate plan at any time within the
Subsidy Period, the following will apply:
- For subscribers who are not entitled to the upfront payment waiver and have paid for the upfront payment, your remaining monthly rebate will be forfeited.

For subscribers who are entitled to the upfront payment waiver and no upfront payment
is required to be made, you are required to refund the balance of the device subsidy
amount. The device subsidy amount is equivalent to the upfront payment amount. The
balance of device subsidy will be calculated as follows:
Device subsidy amount / Subsidy Period x remaining numbers of months.
The remaining number of months will be deemed to include the month during which you terminated the P99 or P139 Phone Bundle.
- All claims relating to your smartphone, which is part of the P99 or P139 Phone Bundle and which are covered by the warranty, if any, should be referred to the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on any device.

U Mobile may block or restrict the use of the device during the Subsidy Period if:
- U Mobile suspects that you have committed fraud;
- U Mobile finds that you have committed fraud; or
- despite our reminders, you have failed to remit the Monthly Fees of your chosen rate plan for a continuous period of three (3) consecutive months from the activation of the device plan or any other period as determined by U Mobile from time to time.
- U Mobile may unblock the use of the device upon receipt of the outstanding payment and upon your request to unblock the use of the device, if your device use is blocked due to non-payment of the Monthly Fees of your chosen rate plan.
- If your device is blocked due to fraud or suspected fraud, you may be requested to contact U Mobile’s customer service for further instructions.
- You remain liable for the Monthly Fees if you lose your device, if your account is barred or suspended, or if your use of device is blocked, for any reason.
- This U Mobile ‘P139 Roam-Onz GlobalTM Promo’ Promotion (“Promotion”) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd (“U Mobile”) will commence at 00:00 on 05 December 2018 and continue until further notice (“Promotion Period”).
- By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by all the Promotion terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”) and Roam-Onz GlobalTM terms and conditions which are accessible at u.my/rog.

Promotion Eligibility & Mechanics:
This Promotion is open to all Active subscribers who sign up for P139 during the Promotion Period. “Active” means you are still able to make and receive calls.
To participate in this Promotion:- Sign up for P139 during the Promotion Period and get Roam-Onz GlobalTM free for 24 months upon activation.
- Roam-Onz GlobalTM quota is refreshed on a monthly basis, in accordance with the bill cycle of your P139 plan.
- If there is any change of rate plan, Roam-Onz GlobalTM will be replaced with the Roam-OnzTM offer, subject to the Roam-OnzTM terms and conditions.
- Upon the expiry of the Promotion Period, the applicable monthly subscription fees of Roam-Onz GlobalTM will be charged.

iPhone with UPackage

Eligibility
- UPackage is available to the following customers who are 22 years of age at the date of registration of UPackage:
- new customers who port in from other service providers:
- with no outstanding payment shown in their Postpaid bill for the past 3 months or more; and
- have spent a minimum of RM70 per month on their Postpaid lines for 3 consecutive months prior to the date the customer port in from other service providers; or
- new customers are required to subscribe UPackage using Auto Debit payment method.
- existing U Mobile customers selected by U Mobile at its absolute discretion, from time to time.
- If you are in category (b) and wish to switch to UPackage, your existing rate plan will be automatically terminated as at the date of our acceptance of your subscription and you are liable for any charges due to the termination of your existing rate plan. You must fully settle all outstanding charges under your existing rate plan before you can proceed with the UPackage registration.
- Each customer (with one NRIC) will only be entitled to subscribe to one (1) UPackage. Only Malaysians are eligible to subscribe to UPackage.
- Duration
The duration of the instalment payment plan is twenty four (24) months from the date of activation of U Package (“Subsidy Period”), depending on the iPhone model selected.
- Price and Payment
- By subscribing to UPackage, you will enjoy one (1) unit of iPhone at a subsidized price depending on your selection of the rate plan, iPhone model and capacity.
- Prices for iPhone devices which are bundled with UPackage and Postpaid plan are set out in individual iphone device pages in www.u.com.my.
- You are required to remit an upfront payment upon registration of the UPackage depending on the iPhone model purchased.
- You will pay consecutive monthly payments (“Monthly Device Fee”) during the Subsidy Period which will appear as a charge in your monthly bill.
- Ownership
Title, interest and ownership in the device will pass to you only upon full payment of all Monthly Device Fees.
- Termination and Suspension
- If you terminate or if we terminate your UPackage due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan or change to another rate plan before the expiry of the Subsidy Period, you are required to pay U Mobile the outstanding Monthly Device Fees, as determined by U Mobile as set out below:
Balance charges = U Mobile Selling Price as shown in table below (without UPackage subsidy) – total instalment fees paid
Example: If you purchase an iPhone XR 64GB with Postpaid P99 and terminate in Month 7, the U Mobile Selling Price is RM3,270 and your Monthly Device Fee is RM115, you are required to pay U Mobile RM3,270–(RM115x8*)=RM2,350.
*In Month 7, you would have been billed for 8 months of instalment. This is due to the first instalment which has been billed at point of registration.

- The outstanding Monthly Device Fee is in addition to any charges payable by you under your account up to the time of termination. You will be furnished with a final bill which is due and payable upon receipt.
- U Mobile may block the IMEI number of your device, if:
- U Mobile suspects that you have committed fraud;
- U Mobile finds that you have committed fraud; or
- you have failed to remit the Monthly Device Fee or monthly fees of selected rate plan for a continuous period of three (3) months from the activation of the UPackage.
- You will remain liable for the Monthly Device Fee if you lose your device, if your account is barred or suspended, or if your IMEI number is blocked, for any reason.
- U Mobile may unblock your IMEI number upon receipt of the outstanding payment due, if your IMEI number is blocked due to non-payment of the Monthly Device Fee or monthly fees of selected rate plan.
- If your IMEI number is blocked due to fraud or suspected fraud, you may be requested to contact U Mobile’s customer service for further instructions.
- If you terminate or if we terminate your UPackage due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan or change to another rate plan before the expiry of the Subsidy Period, you are required to pay U Mobile the outstanding Monthly Device Fees, as determined by U Mobile as set out below:

Value+ iPhone Promotion
- This U Mobile Value+ Promotion (“Promotion”) by U Mobile Sdn Bhd Registration No. 199101013657 (223969-U) (“U Mobile”) will commence at 00:00 on 9 April 2021 and effective until further notice (“Promotion Period”).
- This Promotion is subject to the Terms of Service of our Postpaid service. You must comply with those Terms of Service including our Privacy Notice, the relevant Postpaid subscription plan and these additional terms and conditions, (collectively, the “Terms”) all which are available on https://www.u.com.my.
- U Mobile may change any of these Terms and Conditions and may terminate, suspend this Promotion or extend the Promotion Period. Any such change will be announced on our website. It is your responsibility to check these Terms and Conditions on our website if you do not agree to any of the changes, you must immediately cease participation in the Promotion.
- Eligibility
This Promotion is open to all Active Postpaid subscribers. “Active” means able to make and receive calls. - Promotion Mechanics
- To participate in this Promotion:
- you must be a subscriber of an Active postpaid plan of either Unlimited Hero Postpaid GX68, P79, P99 or P139 (“Line 1”). If there is more than one eligible line in your account, the line with the longest tenure will be entitled to the Promotion. In order to be eligible for the Promotion, Line 1 must be a stand alone service and not a bundled service.
- you are required to add a new Unlimited Hero Postpaid GX68 principal line (“Line 2”) which is activated in the following manner:
- Port-in successfully from another service provider or sign up Line 2 during the Promotion Period. Prepaid to postpaid plan conversion is eligible for this Promotion. Any rate plan change from an existing postpaid plan to Line 2 is not eligible.
- Activation of Line 2 must not be earlier than Line 1. Line 2 must be activated before the end of the Promotion Period.
- Both Line 1 and Line 2 must be registered under the same customer identification (ID). Customer identification includes NRIC or passport.
- Both Line 1 and Line 2 will be subject to a commitment period of 24 months (“Commitment Period”) from the activation of Line 2. If you terminate Line 1 or Line 2 within the Commitment Period, depending on the device, you are allowed to upgrade to another Hero Postpaid device plan of higher value.
- To participate in this Promotion:
- Device Offer
- Subject to fulfillment of the Commitment Period, each eligible subscriber will be entitled to receive either a free device or a device at a subsidised price depending on the applicable bundle offer, once during the Promotion Period. Prices for devices which are offered under this Value+ Promotion and the Postpaid plans are set out in https://www.u.com.my/devices/valueplus.
- If you subsequently terminate or downgrade Line 1 or Line 2 and re-activate the line during the Promotion Period, you will no longer be eligible for this Promotion. In this case, device early termination fee (as specified in paragraph 5(c) below) will be chargeable from the next billing cycle.

If you terminate or if we terminate your Line 1 or Line 2 due to your default or if you downgrade your rate plan or change to another rate plan before the expiry of the Commitment Period, you are required to pay U Mobile the balance of the monthly device fee, as determined by U Mobile as set out below:

- All claims relating to your smartphone, which is part of the device offer and which are covered by the warranty, if any, should be referred to the relevant manufacturer. We do not provide any warranty claim on any device.
- U Mobile may block or restrict the use of the device during the Commitment Period if (i) U Mobile suspects or finds that you have committed fraud; or (ii) despite our reminders, you have failed to remit the monthly fees of your Postpaid plan for a continuous period of three (3) consecutive months from the activation of the device plan or any other period as determined by U Mobile from time to time.
- U Mobile may unblock the use of the device upon receipt of the outstanding payment and upon your request to unblock the use of the device, if your device use is blocked due to non-payment of the monthly fees that you are required to pay for your Postpaid plan.
- If your device is blocked due to fraud or suspected fraud, you may be required to contact U Mobile’s customer service for further instructions.
